As part of the project, together with our friends from dziczenie.pl, we will show you the best of the Suwałki Region. We will visit and discover the most beautiful and interesting areas of the Augustów Primeval Forest, the Augustów Canal, and Lake Serwy. Together, we will explore nature, track animals, and discover the beauty of the natural world.
Our guide is Michał Skierczyński (Bosman). He has a PhD in biology and is passionate about freedom. Michał has been working with people for years, both young and old, Michał has been working with people, both young and old, for years, sharing his knowledge and experience with them. His great passion is to be as close to nature as possible in all conditions. For many years, he developed his passion by studying nature scientifically, initially in Białowieża at the Mammal Research Institute of the Polish Academy of Sciences, and later working for twelve years at the Department of Behavioral Ecology at the Faculty of Biology of the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań. He has always been fascinated by trips to wild places. He has made dozens of expeditions to the mountains, from the Carpathians to the mountains of Norway and Iceland to the equatorial mountains of Cameroon. His heart remained in the Suwałki region, where he ended up and settled permanently. Michał works with the renowned company WildPoland, for which he leads nature tours and expeditions in north-eastern Poland. He is also a licensed guide at the Biebrza National Park.
